White Brothers or T4 on a Mojave?

Postby Mojave Magic » Mon Jul 05, 2010 6:38 pm

Greg, will I notice any significant different by putting my E-Series on in place of the T4? I'm happy with how the T4 performs, but it is so much longer and hits the ground when I stand the quad up to clean it. It is also starting to get smashed a little from getting hit in bottlenecks or times when I stall or get stuck. I'd rather pull it off now and put it on my stock one and keep it in good shape longer if that makes sense.

first, dont stand the quad up to wash it, oil gets in the breather chamber, more then it should.

the t4 will flow jsut a tad better on top. plus, those parts are avalible, bust the wb, and no parts are available.

What breather chamber? I have the long breather hose on mine like your 330. Is there another spot I don't know about?

I guess I'll leave it alone for now. It just seems like certain death for the T4 with how long it is. The WB has to be a good 3 or 4 inches shorter.

the chambers in the motor cases. that little maze can hold up to 200 cc of oil when full

Is this something that drains over time? Normally I only stand it up to clean certain parts and then drop it back down and it sits the rest of the day. What kind of problems does this chamber cause when full, will it blow extra oil out when running or something like that? Just when I think I finally have most of this quad figured out I learn something new. It makes me wonder how many other things I'm missing.

it will blow oil out if you start it up right after cleaning .
letting it sit is a good thing
