That and for some reason their last names are Smith or Blankenship. We got rid of our home phone due to no one calling it any more. Most everyone we know now just call the cell. The only calls to the house were from telemarketers or electorial candidates. I once got a call from John McCain. Lol!(recording) Now, not only are they calling my cell but they are texting me as well. WTF? I've asked to be put on the no call list but that seemed to fail as they pass new regulations for communication network annually.

Fortunately we have unlimited text in our package, but it still doesnt make it right. Especially for those who dont even have text plans and still get them. I have to have a cell phone due to my side business making trim/moulding and trimming out houses, or else no one would ever be able to get ahold of me.

I really like the ones that call and try to pass themselves off as your spouse's best buddy :x :

Hi, this is Joyce, is Warner there?
What are you selling?
I'm not, I'm looking for Warner.
Well, no one that knows him, calls him Warner. So who are you and what do you want?
I want to talk to Mr. ***
This is Mrs. *** what are you selling?
I'm from XX Morgage Co, and we are..
Stop right there, take me off your list, our house was paid for 15 years ago.
Don't you want a home improvement morgage?
Why when he does all the projects, and we have no bills? Why would I want to create another bill?
Thank you, have a great day.
